Much has changed since Beckham's time with the long-sleeved jerseys. However, in their new Squadra 21 collection, Adidas has retained the long-sleeved jersey.

The shirt follows the overall design of the Squadra 21 series by placing the Adidas logo on the sleeves and thereby keeping the front free.

Most people no longer play with a long-sleeved jersey, but with a baselayer under their jersey, the jersey can of course still be used as a jersey, but it is obvious to use as a warm-up jersey to handball.
